Privacy & terms

manus.video is an independent site that helps you write prompts for AI video tools. This page says, in plain words, what we collect and the few rules for using the site.

Privacy

What stays on your device

Prompts you write in the studio or paste into the Prompt doctor are handled in your browser and never uploaded.

Your last setup and recent prompts are saved in your browser's local storage, on this device only. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages and features people use: page views, the video tool you pick, when you copy or check a prompt. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_…), and Google receives your IP address, browser, device type and approximate location.

Analytics is on by default. Choose "Decline" in the cookie banner, or "Cookie settings" in the footer, to turn it off and remove those cookies. We never use it for ads and never sell data.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which count visits and measure loading speed without cookies.

Other services the site loads

Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs. Fonts come from Google Fonts, and blog posts and images from Sanity. Each of them sees your IP address when your browser loads something from it.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months, then deleted. We have no accounts, so we hold no names, passwords or payment details.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to analytics. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days. In the EU and UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Using the site

manus.video is free to use and provided as is. Prompts, tips and scores are suggestions: what you get depends on the video tool you use, and we can't promise a result.

Your prompts

What you write and the prompts you make are yours to use however you like, including for paid work. Follow the terms of the video tool you use them in.

Not affiliated

manus.video is an independent resource. It isn't run by or affiliated with Manus, Google (Veo), OpenAI (Sora), Runway or Kling, and their names belong to their owners.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
